It sort of make me wonder why they all asked to see a birth certificate at all, because everyone knows they'd be determined to disbelieve it when produced anyway.
Because they've already made up their mind, so everything that is or is not provided is "proof".
No birth certificate? Proof! Because there isn't one.
Birth certificate? Proof! Because look at all those mistakes, what an obvious forgery.
