Welcome to my world.
Only if you're in uniform. Your leather sandals and accompanying black socks and garters should be arriving in the mail.Tyyr wrote:I have a sudden urge to protect my lawn aggressively.
But I assume you can only buy books from Barnes and Noble ?Mark wrote:I've got the base line Barnes and Noble Nook......and I love it. I can carry all my books with me, and book shopping got really easy. No more going to the bookstore 8)

Hell, I feel old now! Why is the decade I grew up in "old!" (this from a person who listenst to 50s, 60s, 70s music)Mark wrote:When one of your default radio stations that plays "80s, 90s, and now" is calling itself an "oldies" station, your definetely one of us.
Not even an idea I feel old cuz apparently 90s is "oldies" now?Captain Seafort wrote:You feel old? Tell me, where were you when the Wall came down?
That depends, youngster. Do you mean Berlin, or Jericho?Captain Seafort wrote:You feel old? Tell me, where were you when the Wall came down?
Yeah, it's locked to only B&N books, which is why I love my iPad, because it has all of the book stores on it as well as better screen real-estate. Now I have a question, is there any back-light on them, because the screen has the same brightness as a books page as far as I can tell, which would make them utterly useless to me.LaughingCheese wrote:But I assume you can only buy books from Barnes and Noble ?Mark wrote:I've got the base line Barnes and Noble Nook......and I love it. Like, can you buy Kindle books too ?
Somehow I'm guessing its locked to their own brand.
