"Knickerbockers" is the NBA team from New York City, commonly shortened to "New York Knicks." The term comes from an old Thomas Nast political cartoon featuring an embodiment of New York called "Father Knickerbocker," which undoubtedly comes from a corruption of an old Dutch term.

Those are supposed to be female underpants? I thought it's a neat substitute for a carpet in my bedroom.

What gives you that idea? :? It's more like SG - the eccentric spelling is clearly triggered by proximity to foreigners, whereas Teaos' spelling is triggered by proximity to the bloke in the mirror.

Wait a minnim. I just looked in the mirror, and it showed me. I've never been closer to Teaos than a hemisphere away, and I don't see how I could've affected his spelling anyway.
