Take that spelling nazi
You get the just of it. They fly around the galaxy in a tricked out Defiant class doing the usual. Depressing the oppressed, wronging rights, and generally making asses of themselves. But, they seem to be having fun though.
Seriously, there's always a new planet to invade for whatever reason.

The gist of it perhaps?

Guys, I'm seeing a serious lack of awful fanfics being named in this thread.
RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Marissa Picard. Anyone else heard of her?
I've heard of her, but I've never read the stories about her. And from what I've heard, I don't want to.

So what's the definition of those?

A 'fix fic', in general, is basically rewriting canon to 'fix' it. For instance, Anakin Solo does
not die in SBS. Or... Harry and Hermione get together. Luke goes to the Dark Side. Kirk doesn't 'die' in Generations.
Sometimes, it can be
very good. Team 8 for the Naruto fandom, for example. Sometimes, though... it sucks.
Especially when you have an OC which is basically a self-insert that's uber-elite.

Remember the episode 'Disaster'? Those kids Picard helps in the turbolift? The girl? He adopts her. Imagine the
worst aspects of Wesley's promotions cranked to eleven. I've read the MST versions, which is why I'm still sane.

Ah, the 3 million army groups then?
Or the that Mandalore was BDZ'ed millennia ago.

Essentially, yes.

Never said it had to be fanfiction, after all.

Alright that's what I thought. Given that I was "correcting" much of what I thought SF did wrong in my Trek fic I was wondering if it fell under this heading.

I demand a link.

What this guy has written is rather awful as well. harry becomes a supercharged wandless spell throwing winged humanoid, gets Luna Lovegood and more.

Yeah. Fix fics can be good
or bad. Hell, technically 'Where No Jedi Has Gone Before' is a fix fic.
As for a link...
TVtropes article about the fic series
MST versions of the fics
Like I said, I've never read the 'raw' forms of them.

I've found the new link!

Special Operations is the one I was talking about. It's not HORRIBLE, but it IS bad in a "wanker" kind of way. See what you think....he has a whole website.
