I think I'll take a pass on the movies, the reviews here aren't exactly stellar. Maybe Green Zone. I'd like to rent Hurt Locker, but the TV at the hotel doesn't have a DVD player.
It does have free beer though, so I can't complain about the place.

I think you mean
Repo Men. Repo Man was an all-time great, if kitschy and cult, film featuring Emilio Estevez and Harry Dean Stanton.

Actually, I'm often "multitasking" when posting here as of late.

Um, how old
are you exactly?
By the way I opted to rent "Hurt Locker" and "Downfall" and I'd recomend them both. I know I could get them via youtube or some other pirate source, but I grew up in the sort of place where people didn't bother to lock their houses or cars at night, and have always been pretty squaky clean. Now that I'm chasing security clearances and have big brother telling me about how much he's watching I'm extra leery.
Also I enjoyed the special features on both and of course the high def.

...shows you how much I know about the movie. so by this I infer that the approximatley appropriate age for said movie is about from 7-12. oops.

Downfall is definitely a movie worth paying for to see it in proper quality.

Sunnyside might be referring to your comment about Happy Meals.
But, just in case it was in reference to the movie...
How to Train Your Dragon is definitely a film enjoyable by all ages.

The Happy Meal plays into it.
But, checking the wiki, the movie is about Hiccup the son of the Chief, Stoick the Vast, on the island of Berk, where he works as an apprentice to the blacksmith, Gobber the Belch.
So you can draw your own conclusions about the target age demographic.
Still, a good movie for the kiddies is at least tolerable for the parents, and it sounds like that might be the case here.

It's dreamworks, they and pixar have been making it a point in the last decade or so of making kiddy movies that are appealing to adults as well.

Well, you're certainly welcome to your opinion, but adult audiences have found the movie just as enjoyable (more than just "tolerable") as younger audiences have, if for different reasons.
I'm 24, and I LOVED the movie--and not just because of my partiality toward dragons. The story is intelligent and is never ever dumbed down. The characters are deep and well developed. And, something happens at the end that would never happen in your typical kiddies movie.

They realized that many adults will just buy the DVD for the kids. In order to get asses in theater seats they have to make it interesting to adults as well.

Yeah, honestly most of them are better then the average movie aimed at an adult.
