Agreed, there is nothing more cruel, well execpt when they are in packs that is then they tend to exponiatly (need a spelling nazi) increase the levels of bitchiness by the number of them in said pack.

Earlier today, my aunt's abusive ex-husband rang up my uncle to tell him that she's been arrested. My uncle then proceeded to spread the word through the rest of the family. No one has any idea why she's been arrested, or what the fuck's going on. We're trying to get a hold of her son to see if he knows anything about it. Fucking hell.

You guys can't call the police station and get the charge?

My mother did last night, I just got the details a while ago. She and her sons have become rather seperated from the rest of the family, hence why we didn't really know what was going on.

Right, well, first off, my aunt got divorced from her abusive husband a few years ago. She then got together with another guy (let's call him A) a short while later. A was then sent to prison for a while after she accused him of beating her (she sure knows how to pick them, eh?). Here's where things get hazy.
She was actually sorry that she got him sent to prison, and continued to try having a relationship with him while he was in prison. She claims that he gave her permission to use his cheque-book, which she did. But now he's out of prison, and has claimed that he never said such a thing at all. Because of this she's now awaiting trial for fraud.

"Revenge is a dish best served cold." Yeah, I see how that could be a problem. So she really has no defense at all, if he's going to push the issue then?

Pretty much. There was nothing written down at all. His word against her's. And while he's hardly in good standing with the law, they're likely to side with him.

So, a friend of mine, who lives up in NH, her dad is an a*****e, he doesn't seem it to other people, but he's such a chauvanist and blames everything on this poor girl. She never seems to "live up to" her brother's standards, one ended up a pothead, and the other had a kid right out of HS. And IDK if this is better or worse, but I'm the only one outside of her family that knows how much he's an a** to her. I really wish I could help her, but there really is no way I can, so she basically has to live with it...

Well, Nick... yeah, that sucks. At least she understands that he's being an ass, and doesn't believe his crap. That's a big step.
