It's not an Albuquerque Drive, it's an Alcubierre Drive, named after Miguel Alcubierre, the Mexican theoretical physicist who thought it up.
Oh, okay. That makes a bit more sense.

Ok, well now the question is how can we control negative energy. If we ever can, it would -with out a doubt- be the greatest scientific achievement in the history of our species.
I was reading some more stuff about negative energy. It said that not only FTL travel, but also teleportation, wormhole generation, and even time travel could be possible if we could properly harness it.

I for one, dearly hope we NEVER learn any methods of messing with time. The potential to just fuck everything up there is far too great. We are in no possible way responsible enough, nor do I believe humankind ever really will be, to have that kind of power at our finger tips.

Aye, the timeline should be one thing that stays left alone.

Which guarantees people will try to mess with it.

Which is why we will see governments creating their own Temporal Investigations Agency in the future .. or the past ... which will then control the timeline so we never discover time travel so there is no need for the TIA so it never exists but then someone travels through time necessitating the creation of the TIA to fix the timeline wiping everything out and then....

time travel really isn't all that hard, all you have to do is change the charge of every particle in your body at the exact same time, once this occurs you will actually travel back in time, the trick then is returning all the charges to the particles before you reach the point where earth no longer exists, or where gravity has yet to exert itself and you drift apart.

That's where the DeLorean comes in.

Is it theoretically possible to alter a massive body enough to be able to enter into/travel through a brane? (Assuming, of course, that everything so noted in string theory is actually true...)

This is a little above my own understanding so I may be completely wrong here, but...AFAIK I don't think it is possible, Braines don't exist in our universe, instead we exist between brains, so you'd have to physically travel through space time and out of our universe before you could find a braine to travel to...but once again this is me extrapolating on what I understand so I may be completely wrong.
