It's my actual first and last name combined.

Re: Names
I needed a name one day and being super creative I looked around my desk for inspiration. A cup of tea latter and a random "os" on the end...
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Heh.....ditto here.
The day I joined the forum I REALLY wasn't feeling very creative, so I stuck with the same name I've heard every day multiple times for 33 years.

Mine orginated when I signed up at the TMFFA ( Tenchi Muyo Fan Fic Archive)* nigh on a decade or something ago. The name is relevant to the anime, and I've just stuck with it ever since.

I remember that show. It was pretty good, IIRC.

Re: Names
I know of only one other real life person with the first name 'Judge' and that's second in line to the throne for the title of 'King of the 80's comedy film, Judge Reinhold (and that's not even his real name)JudgeKing wrote:It's my actual first and last name combined.

this was a good Idea...some of these I knew, but I'm finding out a lot about the etymology around here.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Re: Names
Well for me it's a very long story. It starts back in 1965 when I escaped from a nine month prison sentence. After that I didn't much other than drinking, burping, farting and defecating for quite a few years. Well, enough about me, I was given this name way back then and it's sort of stuck.

Sarah, right?IntrepidPrincess wrote:This thread is for members to post and discuss the meanings behind their names.
This can include the reason(s) you chose that name for ditl, what that name translates to (in any language), anything you want to tell us about the history of that name, etc.
Do not feel compelled to reveal if it is your true name or not.
I'll start. I chose "Intrepid" because it is Voyager's class, and I love Voyager (go to my blog http://www.voyagerprincess.blogspot.com if you want to know why).
I chose "Princess" because that is what my real name translates to in Hebrew.
