A lot of the actors who play various aliens often appear quite a few times as different individuals throughout the shows.

For instance, Colm Meaney played Lieutenant O'Brien and Chief O'Brien. Aaron Eisenberg also played a Kazon once in VOY and Spot was both male and female at various points.

Armin Shimmerman was also one of the one-and-done Ferengi from one of the early TNG eps.

Even Marc Alimino (Gul Dukat) made a couple other appearances

Stephen Hawking while visiting the set of TNG once asked to be taken out of his wheel chair and placed in the Captains seat, he almost never gets moved around in public.

Frakes was on an episode of 'The Waltons.'

*raises hand* well a replica -- tho i did get to sit in the original TOS captains chair. It's actually quite uncomfortable.

Actually at the Franklin Institute, w/ Star Trek: The Exhibition. AFAIK it was the actual chair..
