No, she should have gone to the LC, bought a bottle of wine and then shoved the cork in her gob.
Is a LC a package store?

She was clearly wronged by McDonalds, they took her money and wouldn't give her what she purchased. She had every right to complain to the authorities, she just went about it the wrong way.

that's the key though, she did it the wrong way.

Calling 911 three times thinking that an absence of McNuggets is an emergency is just plain stupid.

Besides that they were willing to give her more food than what she paid for, a suitable compensation considering they believed they couldn't refund her money.

It's short for Liquor Control Board, in other words the liquor store.

Oh...yeah, McDicks running out of McNuggets is clearly a heinous offence and they should be punished to the furthest extent of the law. Wait...whats that...they offered her a larger amount of different food? Fuck her.

The point is not whether Mickey D's was in the wrong - the point is that it wasn't worthy of tying up an emergency-service operator. I'd hate to be her if I was the guy trying to call 911 to get an ambulance for my daughter while the operator was busy discussing McNuggets.

That's definitely a point that everyone can agree on.

I can only imagine how the operator responded to that

"Wait. Who did what??? :wtf: are you calling me for?"

I'd like to know why the operators were so nice about it. It's an EMERGENCY number, not an " I didn't get my chicken nuggets" number. It's her responsibility to know the non-emergency police number; she could have called 411 for it if the issue was SO important. Seriously, if she's so strapped for cash that a 10-piece mcnuggets meal was an emergency for her, she shouldn't have been eating out at all; there's a magical place called the grocery store where you can feed a family for the price of those fucking nuggets.

I say, prosecute her to the full extent of the law. [/rant]

So true, just take the meal and and send an angry email to the manager, or report them to the better business bureau if your so ticked off.

Yeah, I would have just taken the trade that the person there offered. It's still food. People over react far too often IMO
