Sixth Sense. I don't particularly hate it, per se. I just find it boring and tedious, and not worth the hype that was built up around it.

QFT. And the ending was about as subtle as a freight train.Rochey wrote:Sixth Sense. I don't particularly hate it, per se. I just find it boring and tedious, and not worth the hype that was built up around it.

Sadly, it also came out up against the similarly premised Stir of Echoes with Kevin Bacon, which I thought was a far superior film. Of course, SoE got creamed at the box office because of all the hype around Sixth Sense.
Guess which one I own a copy of.

I liked Unbreakable, but generally Shyamalan doesn't do much for me. With that one The Village, the ending was so obvious that I had suspected it from the very first trailer.Mikey wrote:QFT. And the ending was about as subtle as a freight train.

Ugh, don't remind me of that trainwreck of a film. Shyamalan owes me two hours of life over that debacle.

Really? Some were overly arty, for sure, but Sleeper, Bananas, Everything You Wanted to Know... were great films.Tsukiyumi wrote:Anything by Woody Allen.
