Yep. Not the best writing in the world, but the partial setting of "sword-and-dorcery" fantasy in the modern world made it interesting at times.

Re: Book Outline for my novel.
Well, there is mention of one biblical demon (polytheistic), Adramelech, who is supposedly one of the guards of a gate of hell, or something around those lines. Then there are also his, being Adramelech, offspring who are half demon/human form. Since demons aren't exactly the relationship kind've guys they rape for breeding, so the mother was human. Then, there are the fugly looking ones who are the offbreeds, the ones born with lesser power then the direct offspring of Adramelech. In the story it is centered around one main demon, not the whole lot of them that do exist. I have thought of changing Adramelech's name due to the fact that it is an already existing demon to some mythological belief, but I haven't decided 100% yet. And lastly I chose demons because they're cool looking, and thought they would be interesting to write about.Just out of curiosity, why demons? And what kind? Are we talking the fallen angels of biblical myth, or the fugly looking ones we tend to associate with the fantasy genre. And what age is it taking place in? The "past", present, or future?
The time is present for them, it is a fantasy so it really doesn't have any time effect on us imo, but other's could say differently.

I'm writing it contemporary/modern style. I cannot write Old English to save my life, lol, Canterbury Tales scarred me for life for that kind've writing.Jess what kind of writing style you going to use? I think it'd be really powerful if you wrote like it was an epic poem of yesteryear.

I can pull off Catherine Cookson impressions so i am told.
Not sure whether that is a compliment to be honest.

Could be worse you know. They could tell you that you're a good impression of Karen Traviss.

Sound a lot like Greek Mythology.
The sons imprisioning their father is kind of like the impresionment of the Titans by the first six gods.
Or the story of Helana and Troy, with the Emporors daughter and the Demond.
Still good, most good series draw on history and ancient mythology
(Star Wars is a major one.)

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Or Stargate...although they actually try to explain and produce a reason for it.

None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.
