Yeah... I think the Maquis would also choose Fed life over the Borg, Teaos. I dunno, they don't seem that unstable.

Much as I'm opposed to what the UFP appears to be, I'd certainly choose them over the Borg.
You can very easily make the case that the UFP restricts freedom in various areas, and doesn't give a shit about its populace. But the Borg are an even more extreme version of that. Why you'd choose the worse of two evils is beyond me.

Thats because you're Irish, most things are beyond you... OH ZING!

But really, the UFP isn't so bad. Its just they aren't as good as Trek tries and fails to make them out to be.

Only because I had the misfortune to be playing in a GCS. I think it's a testimant to my skills that the ship didn't spontaneously explode the first time you looked at it angrily.

There's maybe 2-3 other franchises I'd rather live in than UFP Trek. And one of them, Transformers, is for the OMG COOL! factor than anything else.

Do you think that's why the Enterprise D has a blind guy in charge of the Warp Core?

I'm just curious. Rochey, how the hell did YOU of all people end up Captaining a GCS? Was that supposed to be a cruel joke?

who was it that gave me the link to that battle?

anyway, Definately choose the Federation.

and when you boil it down everyone has the same agenda. It's the way you go about it that makes a difference.

The Federation want's to expand and grow, but they do it through the free will of the planet in question. The Borg find it, destroy it, assimilate it.
