I would have liked these two:
* It has also been stated that the starship Enterprise would have received new crewmembers, including Shran
* Plans existed for an episode showing the construction of the first starbase

I love the idea of T'Pol being half romulan, although would that really explain her affinity for humans or emotions? I assumed that vulcan stoicism was due to scholarly discipline

The Borg Queen story could have been an interesting one, provided they did it in the same way as IAMD and/or the Romulan Drone arc, with little to no interaction with Enterprise's crew, and making damn sure they didn't see or know what was happening.
Making Kreig's Queen a human would certainly have explained her apparent personnal interest in Picard, and humanity in general.

The reason I would hate the Borg Queen story is it would screw up most of the explanations given for her existence that make a lot more sense than this.

I am 99% sure the Borg Queen expressly stated her species number in Voyager, and it was NOT the same species number as human. But that wouldn't have stopped B&B I'm sure.

The Borg queen was stated to be of Species 125, VOY "Dark Frontier"

Yeah and in the same episode she identified human as 5608 or something?

Species 5618 is human.

So? Ignoring established canon is B&B's stock-in-trade.

But this would be Coto and he has much more respect for it.

True, but I still believe that even the best of intentions can result in disaster when trying to shoehorn an idea into a previously-established universe.

They already started with Voyager, and ENT was/is a lot better than Voyager.

Voyager didnt stomp on canon to often, it usually only tweaked it.
ENT just out right ignored it and then came up with some half arsed excuse for it.
and ENT was/is a lot better than Voyager.
No. Just no.

Yeah have to agree with Teaos, Voyager at least tried to be a real Trek. Enterprise was just making crap up in the past, leaving out most of what we know really happened, and inserting stuff no one in Starfleet ever bothered mentioning, however important.

Yep. If it hadn't been for Coto the series could've been a near total waste.
