Escargots? They're as bad as you imagine.

But pickled cabbage... I used to go to school with a Korean whose mom would bring him homemade kim-chee that would blow your head open. I loved it.

No, but we have a chain in NJ called Cluck U. Chicken that had five grades of wings: mild, hot, atomic, nuclear, and global thermonuclear. I used to be on the Wall of Fame.

In chem, ever get splash someone with a mild nitric acid?

No. The emergency shower in the chemistry room, for spills (of non-water reactant materials of course). I spilled a base on my arm, it started to burn, so I used the shower, clothes and all (not fun).
