I still prefer my version, although maybe I should have put "stars" in quote marks.

And half-point to Seafort. :)

Ah... I had a good week except the last hour at work today, where my coworkers disappear on me, leaving me holding the proverbial bag until the last few minutes. :madashell: :bangwall: And was in front of some psycho who liked to burn rubber and hug my bumper.

On the plus side, I heard 'Eternal Flame' by the Bangles on the radio.

Made one of the biggest sales in our shops today. Asia lady brought about 700k worth of emerald jewellery, how did I contribute. Ran interference with the husband drinking 75 year old whiskey in the bar while she shopped.

Result: got smashed on $700 bottle of whiskey and made 4k in commission. Result.

What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Occasionally, I am reminded that the internet allows my dumb redneck self to connect with people that do in a day more amazing things than I've done in my entire life.

Nicely done. I've made commissions in excess of $4k before, but never while drinking really good whiskey.

Nothing like talking with a friend for 45 minutes on the phone. My neck ached for a bit, but it was worth it.

Sure there is - talking with a friend for a few hours over a drink.

Okay, that would be better, yes. ;) But for me and my friend, at the moment the phone is what we've got.

So... anyone know of a way to remember all the Trig formulas? The first two chapters delt with the basics with sines and cosines and the other bullshit. At least now, we are going into using them for practical purposes.

Oh and I will never take a math class at night again. I am there for three hours from 6:15pm to 9:30pm, and by the last hour my brain shuts down and I start thinking of random stuff.
