Oddly, driving for 7 hours is harder on the back and legs than I would have thought. Ow.

Do you have a wallet in your back pocket? I find that since you are sitting on a wallet it screws up the back and legs because you are sitting unevenly.

Or you are just getting old. :P

I'm not (that) old (yet) but I've found that my legs are stiff after getting up out of a movie theater after sitting still there for a couple of hours.

Yeah, same here. I felt that way after seeing Avengers Wednesday.

Chain wallet, front pocket.
Or you are just getting old. :P
I'm sure that doesn't help.

Even losing a bunch of weight, at the end of the day, I am still disabled. Just have to work around it.

I find riding for long periods of time is tiresome.

Mainly because the protesting whine of a tiny little engine ends up giving me a ridiculous headache.

Yeah, I can get a bit tired driving simply from having to be alert to my surroundings and not be an idiot.

I think thats the more tiring bit than the driving itself. Especially on motorways, you have to spend a lot of time on the defensive to make sure some other moron isn't going to do something stupid.

Oh, yeah. I remember one time I was going home and was being tailed by a pair of cars being driven by ((%%$$#^&** idiots that seemed to have a death wish! I pulled into the park where I live, drive to my house and have to sit there for a few moments, trying to calm myself and get my nerves under control and basically recharge myself.

So... lost my glasses. Couldn't find the bloody things anywhere. Retraced my steps after work, and eventually found them in the tumble dryer. Completely trashed. £70 for a new pair, I'll go along with the blurry vision for a while! In my defence though, I was half asleep at the time of doing the washing.

Ooh, that sucks, Tindarin. Without my glasses I am screwed.

I struggle to see clearly more than a few meters without my glasses... and get a lot of headaches without them... And I've lost my spare pair.

I have to double check but as long as you have a prescription and don't need bi focals, there are a couple of websites that can ship you a pair of glasses for around $15. The only catch is that they will not be name brand and none of the fancy extras on it like scratch-resistence etc.

The other catch is that they will be shipped through the mail, so it would take awhile before you get them. Around 2 weeks.
