Had my first accident on a proper motorbike today; hardly proud that It happened but it was bound to at some point. Attempting to avoid a huge coach going around a tiny corner and I just...well lost it. I survived with but a bloody knee. The Honda was completely intact and virtually unmarked, save for a completely crushed gear level. My dad came out and bashed it back into shape with a hammer. Mechanically she rode completely fine, despite my nervousness bringing her home. Now all I need do is repair an indicator.
Still, shook me up a bit. This thing was a lot heavier than my first bike accident and instead of me sitting in the footwell, the entire 150kg bike landed on my knee. Still, glad to be intact!

Well, at least it was just a bit of blood. Nothing broken, right?

Are you ok, little bro? The first one is usually a freebie as far as injuries go.
My car finally died. The engine seized up from an oil leak, and they wanted $2000 to replace it. As I only paid $700 and put another $500 in it over the years, I sold it to a salvage yard for a $100.
So, I'm back on the moped......oh joy

Against a moped? I'd win
In response, mark: Yeah, I'm alright now. Incredibly lucky I think considering how hard I hit the deck.

Well, when the semi-inevitable DITL meetup
ever happens, we'll have to see if you can match Mark, Reliant.
But yeah, glad you're okay too.

Oh, I thought Striker meant a "who can injure themselves the most" contest.

You'd have me up to about 300 yards (first gear is shocking) then I think I might pip you.
No point even counting the moped
