I just finished doing my taxes. When I moved to the city I forgot to change my withholding and so now I owe the lovely *cough* State of New York almost $1,000.

Fortunately, I am getting money back on my Federal so I will end up a little bit ahead.

As pointed out, we've had a Scottish Doctor, so he's better described as British. If you take the term to refer to the British Isles, then this includes the Irish.
