Ah. I myself am pretty excited for the spring break to take my daughter to the American Museum of Natural History, in NYC. Absolutely phenomenal museum.

Sounds like it'll be a blast, Mikey.
I go back to work tomorrow. *Sigh* At least Sunday will be off.

Aha, indeed sounds great ...Definitely looking forward to April.
I am back at work tomorrow (after a whole day off)... Back for 7 days, and then doing 6 day weeks for a while... But, gonna speak to the manager, as they haven't actually asked if I have a problem with that (I don't mind it occasionally to help them out, but I work to live, not live to work. I do have a life and a family)... And they haven't even sorted my holiday (they've rota'd me in to work during my supposed holiday).

Or been abroad and forgot to reset your watch?

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
I've been working extra shifts to cover other people, half broken up with my girlfriend (I still have no idea what the fucks going on there, as she says she wants to be with me, but behaves like she doesn't), my godson has been ill and I've been to see him as much as possible...RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Nine... and a half hours early?! I think I've just had so much on its all kinda merged into one giant day... But I am definitely in at 6am, after just getting home (at 10:45pm)...
It's gonna be a long 4-6 weeks.

Do you get overtime pay? If so at least that's a bright spot...

Unfortunately not... but most of the staff won't cover for people, so there's just two of us that tend to do it. Kinda getting to me a bit, due to the fact I'm unable to sort out my other things as I'm constantly in work, and don't have any time to even sleep. But, what ya gonna do. At least I have a job. I'm just gonna have to tell the manager tomorrow that if he expects me to continue to be the great worker he says I am, then I need time to myself, because life's too short to work myself to death and not enjoy life at least a little.McAvoy wrote:Do you get overtime pay? Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
To be honest the thing that is getting to me most is the "relationship" status. Work, I can just tell them I need time to actually have a life... If I really am the great worker that they make out, then they should be able to give me two days off a week to keep me content, especially when they have staff that want more hours... And working me into the ground is obviously going to affect my productivity and make me more irritable through lack of sleepRK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Ah, sounds rough, Tindarin.

Yeah, good points all around. Dull the scythe and the wheat isn't cut properly... or something like that.

No, that was a genuine thanks; I almost forgot.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Ah, sorry Tsuki. I have an accountant do it. Numbers make my head hurt sometimes.
I haven't had to pay taxes in years.
