At the small shop where I work, the proprietor and I (as the technician/assistant) have come to an agreement that there's no music when we're both in, since I don't like what he'll play and vice versa! It's not ideal but it keeps either of us from becoming annoyed by the background music.

Pumpkin Stouts are mighty tasty. I got three six packs of different breweries in my fridge of Pumpkin Stout, a sixer of pumpkin ale and two sixers of Oktoberfest.

A fair part of the decision to play holiday music is bottom-line oriented rather than preference. Retail analysis has shown that holiday music being played before the traditional shopping season can increase impulse buying.

I know and acknowledge that, but it doesn't mean I have to like it.
