Power was out most of yesterday at my university -- except for 1 building which I just happen to have access to
So myself and a few of my friends ended up having a movie marathon most of the afternoon: Nightmare Before Christmas, Across The Universe and Inception. Power came back at around 2am, then I am told blinked off again but now it seems to be back for good. A lot of down tree branches though.

Well, except for the power it wasn't too bad. Heck, I got some cleaning done. And it was all done snowing before I even got up.

My iPhone crapped out on me. I was trying to upload the new OS5 for it and it was doing fine until after it wiped off the old one it just stopped working. It got stuck in the same place five times before I gave up. Had to get a new phone today even though I am broke. I got the Atrix 2 phone.
I had the iPhone for two years and still was in mint condition due to the Otter Box case I had for it. I gave the case away to some lady to the store and placed the iPhone under one of my car tires. Something I have been looking forward to doing for the past year when I eventually had to replace it.

Ugh, McAvoy, that sucks. My track phone is a necessary evil for me.

I had to get a new phone because I need it. I remember several years ago I made an argument that humankind has survived for thousands of years without a phone in case of emergencies and I could do the same. Then I finally got one, barely used it. Then every phone I had, had a new feature that I liked to the point now I need a smart phone with all the gizmos.
That and I hate AT&T, if I wasn't so broke, I would have switched carriers today. But we are talking about hundreds of dollars that I just don't have. Seems like every month I have something new pay for. Between one of my cat's UTIs to blowing out two tires in a sad attempt to parrellel park to today's issues. Oh and my car's heater smells like death.

You will definitely like the Android over the iPhone. The screen size is bigger and the apps are cheaper, plus everything isn't proprietary like car and wall chargers. I just got the Samsung Droid Charge from Verizon for free because Radio Shack now carries Verizon. I love it to death!

I am liking it though I am still confused on the whole layout. Took me awhile to figure out how to unlock my phone. It's lighter too which is nice

Android phones tend to have a steeper learning curve and Motorolas are some of the least "out of the box" usable due to their custom UI, but I've come to value the added adaptability of it.

Well, somehow I've been left alone on Halloween, which means it's me who has to open the door for all the bloody kids.

Sadly it doesn't reach round to the front of the house,l otherwise that would be a cracking idea.

Why the hate for kids? If you're that antisocial, just put up a big sign that says "No candy."

Wow. Not feeling the love for Halloween among you guys. Of course, I live in the town that hosts the second-largest Halloween parade in the world.
