Painfully, but still alive :)

The doctors tried a spinal injection that went quite wrong. Left me in crippling pain for weeks, and I couldn't sit up. Needless to say, the forum wasn't exactly a priority for a bit, but the pain is at a manageable level now, so "I'M BAAAACK"

Glad to hear your better. As a friend of mine once said, "you can't heal properly unless you're in excruciating pain". He's an ex-Marine turned personal trainer.

I'll get back to you on that one :D

This place trips me out. The forum was blocked, but when I go in via an email link, I have no problem.

Hmm, good point. And blocked? Not good. Theforce.net was down for a day. Now, their e-mail system's broken and new posters can't register.

Came off the bike for the first time today. I'm all fine and dandy, protective clothing did me proud and I was only doing around 20mph. The bike is....erm...a little worse for wear. still working perfectly fine but tatty and scraped.

Proper biker now.

What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

*SIgh* Some punk teenagers in the store, ran all around the toy department. One bounced a ball that came this close to hitting a light fixture. Another inbred moron decided jumping onto my merchandise cart and nearly tipping it over would be 'fun'. God-effin'-dammit...

Good thing retail stores aren't public property. I used to kick kids out for unspecified assholery all the time. When questioned on it, I happily replied that I didn't need a reason - as long as they weren't kicking in a share of my rent, they had no right to be in there save at my pleasure.

I glared at the former and they kinda... stopped. I have that sort of Stare when I'm POed. The latter I half-yelled at. His reponse, "I thought it would be fun."

Oh, for a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. Mick, where are you when I need you? !ouch)
