I've just spent the remainder of my savings on a bike for the next...5-6 years or so. It's only a 125cc but that's plenty enough to cope with most roads around where I am likely to need to travel (even handle a motorway...just). Can't ride it yet due to age but she needs a little bit of work doing.

Due to your age, or the bike's age?
In other news, do any of my NYC denizens here know anything about Rodeo Bar in Gramercy Park? Going to a b-day party there Saturday... PLUS, scored a room at the Park South for under $200!

My age, have to be 17 to ride anything above a 50cc. Fortunately, my mum is looking at getting into biking and is rather taken with mine. Maybe she can run it for a while.

I hate haircuts They always take an inch or so too much off, or they layer the back, or they scissor the sides when they need layering, or they fail to take into account my hair grows in a great big messy swirl since I'm double crowned.
In other news, we've had nearly a week of consistent sunshine. Yesterday rained but that was quite pleasant; it seems our heat only comes in the flavour of "oppressively humid".

At least you got some precipitation. We've been dry as a bone for six months now.

I love how things can get super complicated in about five minutes. Life is fun.
I have a new roommate moving in in a week or so, and now Uzume and her fiancee need to stay with me again.
Well, at least I won't be lonely.
And, don't worry, the CoC RP takes priority over EVERYTHING, so we're still moving ahead with that.

I don't mind haircuts, because hair too long irks me.
And yes, good to see you keeping your head level Tsuki.

Just got my hands on the boxset for the complete series of Battlestar Galactica (2004) for half the cheapest price it is in the shops. Never seen any of it before and from what I've read here and on the 'net, I'm in for a treat
“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and
the affection of children...to leave the world a better place...to
know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is
to have succeeded.”
