NAh, I haven't had a drink in over three years. I
might have a brandy when my wife and I go on vacation at the end of the month but no, no alcohol last night. But you can get a similar feeling to being drunk if you stay up long enough and have enough fragging cappicino.

I finally got my computer working again. Been on the fritz again, and as a result I haven't had a chance to talk to my gf for way too long...

You don't own a phone?
1) I can't afford the long distance bill
2) I'm not much of a phone person.

Trip back from the south west was great. left @ 3:30am kept the hammer down at indicated 100mph (actual speed according to satnav was 94mph) all the way north on the M5 until I hit the M6 at which point slowed down quite a bit due to traffic but its so fun just singing along to your favourite songs and tankin it home

I take it the trans held out?
Blackstar - phones are unfortunately a necessary evil, but many folks I know are completely abandoning land lines. Many cell phone providers provide included or no-charge long distance.

Well, I don't really like cell phones either. I'm not a phone person, but now a phone that let's people call me where ever I am? Let's just say I usually turn my cell off unless I'm using it. You know the guy who invented the phone, refused to let one in his study because he found it intrusive.

I still don't own one. I'm not fond of people being able to triangulate my position at whim.

You can turn that off.
Edit: Though I always have GPS location on, due to the amount of travelling I do. Most of it on deserted or poorly policed highways.
