Staplic got a message his account here was de-activated...which we assume is just a tech error. Anyway, he should hopefully be around soon. Just an FYI if you try to PM him.

and I'm back. Still not exactly sure what was up with that, but hopefully it won't happen again.

Big is off for the night and I didn't want to post in his news section. He can always move/copy it later. Just think of it as news for now.

Just added a little from the Romulan viewpoint. If BIG needs to, he can copy and edit a bit for the news, and then have a mod delete those two posts.

Oh and BIG, you can quote the Praetor on that last line.

It did sound rather corny now that I think about it...

We're a bunch of random people from across the planet playing a trek sim... I think corny is just a part of being here.

That's a fair assessment.

I reread the Galor post, and think I must have OD'd on meladrama. A minor discovery during exploration turned into an episode of a space drama

Though it could be a good PR move for you and a good way to ease tensions. People are less likely to argue at a funeral then they are at a council meeting.

Good point about the funeral. Honoring fallen heroes tends to bring out the best in people...............for a while anyway.

Did I explain somewhere the planetary shield rules or did I dream that?
