Oh, that explains it...

Alright boys, just park that Nova Bomb right over there. Yeah, that house.

It's from Starship Troopers - they crack open planets.

40k, they cause the warp to breach and destroy what ever is within about a million miles around them

Yeah. We can re-build him. We can make him better, faster, stronger. Should only cost about $6,000,000 dollars, or so.

Isn't that a Vortex warhead? With a Nova Bomb being just a large explosive (possibly a bunch of daisy chained plasma/magma bombs).Deepcrush wrote:40k, they cause the warp to breach and destroy what ever is within about a million miles around them

I thought nova cannons were just really big anti-ship guns.

It's better to simply pour mountain dew down Rochey's exhaust vents and watch him catch fire.

They are, how they work is a bit of a mystery though (like most of WH40K tech).Rochey wrote:I thought nova cannons were just really big anti-ship guns.

Re: Why do people like Kirk so much?
The Vortex warhead causes a small warp storm in real space. A nova bomb breaches the real space/warp barrier (the larger the bomb the bigger the barrier breach), when the breach closes the energy acts like an A-Bomb but with raw power from the warp and the shock wave spreads like a nove. The Nova Cannon on a starship in 40k does something like it just on a smaller scale.Cpl Kendall wrote:Isn't that a Vortex warhead?
