That, and I could use some target practice.
There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

I thought you live in Texas, where shooting ranges commonly go by the name of "outside."

Anyone pulling any really good April Fools day gags this year?

No, the Easter tradition of laying in a brigade-size array of pork products has begun in her folks' house.Mark wrote:Little do you know, HER parents are likely coming over tonight, lol

We made a wall of cardboard and Duct taped it over our RA's door.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
My old man is applying for yet another job after FCA have started screwing him left right and chelsea. It's just the way the market is at the moment in social practice, not enough social workers, Local Authority dumping their kids on private firms. Dad's already got 12 cases more than he should have but there isn't a damn thing he can do about it. They're just asking more work than you can fit in the hours of the day now. So he's going back (sort of) to his roots and applying to be a court report writer for Portsmouth city council. He'll be writing advisory reports for the court about parents ability to have their kids and such, essentially a court advisor. Considerably better pay, not getting shafted by the tax man for having a company car (Although we have to buy our own) and theres a legal limit on court working hours and court work quantity.
I'm also in the process of applying for my first job. Looking at shelf stacking at some supermarket somewhere, just to get some form of income. I considered going into a charity shop on a voluntary basis but they can't afford the time for the bazillion health and safety forms they have to fill out now.
And finally, coming up exam time. I'm beginning to really get worried about biology and psychology. The others I think I can manage fine, but science isn't my strongest so I've got to revise hard to get at least one science A.
