Had some stop error messages trying to reinstall windows.
Finally got to plan H, or "reinstall windows on my old hard drive, then install windows on the other drive from there".
On the plus side, the old HD seems to be working right (I wasn't using it because of kernel data inpage errors), so I have an extra 450 GB of space.

Well, I've just had a horrible few days. On Wednesday night I started feeling very ill. From that point on I was up on the hour every hour all night and most of the next day. A bad case of everybody out, two exists, no waiting. (if you see what I mean).
Still, getting better now (just)

Urg. My condolences Ian. Eaten something that disagreed with you (or you with it)?

Good times
And not only was Fergie a no-show, he banned anyone else from showing either.

Do we think it's time for the Romulan Commander to retire his Santa Hat?

Man, what a dinner last night. A small take-out place opened near me, which is operated by people who both ran a North Jersey dog joint and are of Polish descent. Well, I like some Polish food and I sure miss a real North Jersey dog, so I had kovbas ("kielbasa") with fried pierogies and sauerkraut - German and Polish-style... accompanied by a dirty-water dog with mustard and kraut, and a deep-fried dog with mustard, onions, and a kick-ass Texas wiener sauce.
I was asleep within one hour of eating.

I'll bet.
Sounds awesome, though.
And, Sonic - lose the hat.

I've always meant to ask - is Texas wiener sauce actually common in Texas?

I've never heard of it.

I suspected as much. It might be an invention of the chain of stores called "Texas Wiener," or it might be a local invention that inspired that franchise.
*EDIT* Here we are: invented in
Paterson, NJ. Personally, I would have called it something else; there is a definite distinction in flavor and texture from chili.
