Cute though.
Fair enough it looked very similar.

Holy Crap
It also has a top speed of 110mph so it's not that slow ie twice as fast as your old national speed limit

If that were literally true Honda would have created a whole new physics. Maybe they're using it to make a warp drive right now...
No, it is true, because I'm talking about load space. The actual usable space that you can put things into behind the front row of seats. The issues with the fiesta as as follows (it's similar on a number of cars of that size):
Fiesta:
Honda Jazz:
- Look at the back of the car. It slopes down wasting useful space. At first look it's no apparent but it can easily be seen if you look at the rear window in both cars. Equally the rear window on the Fiesta is at almost 45 degrees whereas the Jazz is more like 25.
- The other thing that is clear from the pictures is that the front row of seats are further forward on the Jazz than the Fiesta, again if you look at the difference in the length of the bonnet (hood) you can clearly see this.
The Fiesta is also slightly shorter than the Jazz. 1525mm vs 1467mm (about 2.2" taller). The width is identical at 1695mm and the length is slightly shorter 3900mm vs 3950mm (1.9" shorter).
This means that the usable load space is longer and taller. 1320litres vs 979litres (about 34% larger volume, so OK my guestimate was slightly over). Equally, with all the seats in use the load space in the boot (trunk) alone is 337litres vs 295litres (14% larger volume).
Sitting in the car we have great difficulty believing that it's the same size as a Fiesta, so much so that my wife had to pace out the length and width of the car a number of times before she was convinced. Even now she still doesn't quite believe it
The same was true of the Vauxhall Corsa (Opal Corsa I think in the US, but again you may not have that car).

So, I walked into work this morning, and got hit with a complaint. Somebody on the mainland was reviewing (ie listening to) our calls, and filed a report about me for using "a racist term".
Naturally I'm completely confused so I ask what they are talking about, so they played the call for me. I was talking to someone named "Jimiju", and when I pronounce it, it sounded like "Jimmy Jew".
Said corporate complainer thought I was making Jew jokes on the phone
My boss got a good laugh out of it, and said he'd take care of it.

Now Mark, have you been going around discussing the "final solution" to your customer's problems in a German accent again? Naughty little joker there...

Does depend what you want ss the Fiesta is a better drive (although my father hated it, very heavy) but its nowhere near as fuel efficient in real life.

Well it is nice when you win a lottery you never entered AND get to help the premier of Nigeria out of his vexing dilemma too.
There should be a law that says anyone who falls for this crap gets their computer confiscated for their own good.

In protesting proposed and planned education budget cuts, the student body has decided to do a study marathon. The University library is open 24/7 until Friday. How awesome is that? I can get huge loads of studying done now.

I think Thor has taken up employment at Wizards of the Coast. I noticed in the last few D&D books I bought several class builds based around storms or at least thunder and lightning. I did a quick look through all my books and found more builds dedicated to this theme then any other in fact. Just from the few books I own...
Ranger: Stormwarden
Wizard: Spellstorm mage
Warden: Storm Sentinel
Sorcerer: Storm Sorcerer, Lightning Fury
Warlock: Storm Scourge
Bard: Voice of Thunder
Barbarian: Thunderborn, Building Thunder
Druid: Storm Speaker
Warden: Storm Warden

I was on television yesterday, on the local news. Sure, I was in the background, for a few seconds, from the back, but it counts dammit!
