wow....that's legal where I'm from.....

age of consent is 16 with a 4 year close enough law at age 14....so at 15 as long as the perpetrator was under 20 it would be legal, frowned upon but legal.

The Law is absolute as we have. Below 16 is illegal, end of. However, if the age is relatively near 16 and no problems are encountered by family they do a slap on the wrists and let it be. If family kick up a storm, then they have to charge which is Always the male. I think a baby would have caused a storm.

The legality of the issue is, I think, the least of your friend's problems right now. As Tsu said, it will hurt no matter whether it's better in the long run.

In the consumer laptop space, there aren't huge differences in build quality. But, working at a computer shop I've seen lots of damaged laptop shells, or LCD hinges, etc. All LCD panels are vulnerable to cracking but those on laptops are in a much more risky position, being in a rather thin shell which is opened and closed often. I might not call a laptop a paragon of durability myself, though it really depends a lot on the care of the user.

But, the real difference in build or ruggedness is with the 'business-oriented" models, e.g., Dell Latitude (business) vs Dell Inspiron. The former aren't better spec'd, actually might be less for the same cost but are built more strongly - though they might also tend to have smaller screens. The line most famous for 'hewn from a block of granite" build is the old IBM ThinkPad line, now sold by Lenovo with slightly diminished quality from the old days but still top of the pack.

Well, my 21-month-old son isn't really much of a crier - not more than any other toddler of a similar age. Just now, however, he screamed like he was being murdered when I informed him that the bacon I had made for breakfast was all gone.

Well, I don't think you have to worry about him in the future. "No bacon? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" is about the manliest response you can get.

He's such a carnivore. He eats almost anything, but loves meat: sausage, bacon, ham, poultry, and (apparently, after last night) medium-rare New York strip.

Yeah, well, he's also eaten dog food, fir needles, and mulch.

Wow. Some heavy bad stuff going on in a few posts.

Will it cheer some of you if I tell you I am going away on vacation - probably no internet - for the next week?
