Lets be fair, Mark has done some very impressive build-up lately. He's got a solid destroyer class and two good cruiser classes. He might give Tsu a run for his money. Then there's always the Romulans to think about.

All I can say is if anyone goes after Romulus, they will die eventually... unless they have a Death Star or something. That might survive the nonexistent supernova that BIG wiped away in his Q-ness.
Seriously though, The Romulans have been dealing with internal problems for a while now, and I think I'm the only one who had taxes less than 50% till the war.
At this point, I'm playing catchup. And I still don't know how well my ships would do in combat.

Federation Tax Rate has never been close to 50stitch626 wrote:All I can say is if anyone goes after Romulus, they will die eventually... unless they have a Death Star or something. That might survive the nonexistent supernova that BIG wiped away in his Q-ness.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Eh, I doubt he's bringing in that plot twist since we've already passed that point in the sim.stitch626 wrote:All I can say is if anyone goes after Romulus, they will die eventually... unless they have a Death Star or something. What you need to do is work on balancing your economy better. Seriously, those systems I took from you sucked! They ended up costing me money and on top of that they really didn't start breaking over even till I started populating them with Klingons.Seriously though, The Romulans have been dealing with internal problems for a while now, and I think I'm the only one who had taxes less than 50% till the war.
Well if you would have stopped running around so much you would have found out. Plus you know you can beat the Breen. At this point, I'm playing catchup. And I still don't know how well my ships would do in combat.
Ain't that right Tsu!

Your people would freak at that. Though mine has been at 75 since the start of the game.Lt. Staplic wrote:Federation Tax Rate has never been close to 50

to be honest all planets would do that after you take them over that way. They've been ragaved by war and forced to be turned over to the enemy which is going to decrease any productivity on them.Deepcrush wrote:

Well, the Feds have many worlds to tax.
I find that funny, Deep... I dropped by 2M from them.
And I think that me taking on the Breen is a maybe. And if they've improved their EDW...
I wonder, anyone make any special items yet? No need for specifics.
I was thinking on developing things, but not sure on their viability.

Details details... call it what you want but I think they were being lazy.Lt. Staplic wrote:to be honest all planets would do that after you take them over that way. They've been ragaved by war and forced to be turned over to the enemy which is going to decrease any productivity on them.
Yeah, but you got one of my shipyards which cost more then that. It broke about even in the end.stitch626 wrote:I find that funny, Deep... I dropped by 2M from them.
Big said he wanted to stay away from uber-weapons for the sim. I can't say I blame him since just one would end the sim for everyone. EDW and a war is over. Nova a star then everyone starts doing it. Glass a planet and everyone starts doing it. No matter what the sim would be over really quick.stitch626 wrote:And I think that me taking on the Breen is a maybe. And if they've improved their EDW...

If I can just increase my own ship tech base, I'd be happy. Right now, my best designs are all imports. My only Cardassian design was rendered obsoliete by my "hand me down" Starfleet tech, so I only built one. Of course, considering that I started the game with about 600 obsolete ships, I guess I've done ok.

Re: Star Trek Sim discussion
My whole fleet was obsolete when I started. Its been tough getting the new ships in line. Stitch's little shipyard attack set me back over a year. I think CJ is the only person who started with good ships. Him and maybe Stitch with those Norexans.

Reliant, erase this post. Since your starting fleet wasn't public knowledge, don't give it away.Reliant121
