What's the latest in people's lives?
Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Went to a New Years party for the first time in years. Was asked because I'm a Star Trek fan as it happens. Was a fun night. There was cleavage on display, I mock executed a stuffed cat with a toy Star Trek Phaser, and listened to some ELO on the way there and back.
"You ain't gonna get off down the trail a mile or two, and go missing your wife or something, like our last cook done, are you?"
"My wife is in hell, where I sent her. She could make good biscuits, but her behavior was terrible."

Ugh, this is one boring work shift.

Last night: mini keg of Lawnmower, some good friends, and setting off fireworks. Today, dinner at Saltgrass steakhouse with grandma. Not a bad start for me.
Of course, all of the liquor stores are closed for some damn reason...
Sorry you had to work, Lighthawk. You have tomorrow off, though, right?

Man, 2011 is starting off with a bang. My internet, cell phone, and car all broke within six hours of each other

I think "start the year with a bang" wasn't meant to be taken literally
