Ok, given my reaction to firing the first shot can I fire the shotgun semi-auto or am I going to drop it again? Also, how big is she, what's the range?

Well you don't HAVE to drop the gun...but you can give semi-auto a try, and make an Ag -10 per shot after the first to shoot and drop the gun in time.Tyyr wrote:Ok, given my reaction to firing the first shot can I fire the shotgun semi-auto or am I going to drop it again? Your typical flying energy in the shape of a sword cut attackshe swung a backhanded stroke towards him, energy washing off the blade
Can't dodge. I was AOA+20 last turn. I have to take the hits. I'm T(B) 8 with 6AP body and 2AP head.Lighthawk wrote:Tyyr: Need you to make a pair of tests, one WP, and one Ag.
Yeah...I think so.Deepcrush wrote:WS 50 + AOA 20 = ability 70 / roll 52 (hit 25 left arm) -- 2d10 (roll 15) + S(B) 5*2 (10) = 25 damage - 6 = 19
WS 50 + AOA 20 = ability 70 / roll 06 (hit 60 body) -- 2d10 (roll 09) + S(B) 5*2 (10) = 19 damage - 6 = 13
Umm, bad guy number one is dead I'm thinking.
And they're up. Melee guys ws 30 + 10 ganging up + 20 AoA = 60, rolls: 47 and 02
Gunners bs 35 + 10 aim - 20 into melee = 25, rolls: 26 and 48. I'm invoking the miss rules for shooting into melee, which state that a miss that would have been a hit if not for the penalty hits a friendly target. So the 1st shot hits melee mutant 2 in the body, damage...oh sure, now I roll a 9. 11 - 6 = 5 damage
So both melee guys hit unless you dodge one, one gunner misses, and the other shoots his buddy in the back.

Alright then, hit to right leg and right arm. Damage 16 - 8 + 8 - 8 = 8Deepcrush wrote:Can't dodge. I was AOA+20 last turn. I have to take the hits. I'm T(B) 8 with 6AP body and 2AP head.
That's...gunna leave a mark.Tyyr wrote:Ok, since I'm guessing something bad happens I'll just be careful.
BS of 51, +10 short range, +10 aim = 71
Roll, 60
Hit her in the face with her own mojo.
How the hell is he hitting with 24? That means he's the same size as me.Lighthawk wrote:Alright then, hit to right leg and right arm. Damage 16 - 8 + 8 - 8 = 8
...what?Deepcrush wrote:How the hell is he hitting with 24? That means he's the same size as me.
#3 decides he doesn't want to follow the fates of 1 & 2, he's bugging out and running. The gunners are going to take advatage of the opening and fire semi-auto.Either way... oww.
My turn though.
WS 50 + AOA 20 = ability 70 / roll 26, hit body, 2d10 (roll 07) + S(B) 5*2 (10) = 17 - 4 = 13 damage! (mutant 3)
WS 50 + AOA 20 = ability 70 / roll 54, hit body, 2d10 (roll 13) + S(B) 5*2 (10) = 23 - 4 = 19 damage! (mutant 2)
Total damage = 28, so Mr 2 is now happily dead. Mr 3 is wounded.
How is a S(B) 3 guy hitting me for 24 damage when his MAX should be 23?Lighthawk wrote:...what?
On semi auto its per two degrees so its only one hit. Still no damage so doesn't matter.Lighthawk wrote:A hit plus another for the degree of success, both to the head.
He didn't...one of them hit for 16 damage, the other for 8.Deepcrush wrote:How is a S(B) 3 guy hitting me for 24 damage when his MAX should be 23?
Actually there's a conflict of rules in the book, one point declaring it every two degrees and the other every degree. I believe in the DH RP we went with every degree as the rule to follow, so I stuck with that to avoid confusion over which rule to use in which RP.Lighthawk wrote:On semi auto its per two degrees so its only one hit.
