I'll guess they were monitoring his chats, and found out the nature of your relationship?

Worst possible response. All that will do is encourage him to rebel. I guess parents aren't much more reasonable about freedom and personal choice in the UK than they are here.

Sorry, Reliant. :(

That sucks, Reliant. Have you any other ways of keeping in touch? Bebo, MySpace, etc? If you do, advise him to delete his history when he uses it if this is because of your relationship. I presume his parents didn't take the news he was gay/bi too well?

Stupid reaction, especially given your age (no offense intended). Kick their asses with your left eye.

Bebo. but i dont know whether he will be able to get on it. he's developing tactics to steal Library internet to talk to me.

I have no idea why they've done it either.

Here's to guerilla dating tactics!

I've had to use them before myself, when girls' parents didn't "approve" of them dating, or at least, dating a poor kid.

That blows Reliant, no two ways about it.

My wife and I are off to Ottawa this afternoon for the weekend (on an epic hunt for good PSP games and some time away), take it easy everyone.

Enjoy the beaver.

I dont think its me....unless they discovered our conversations. It is sort of private, neither parents know. my mother would have my head off with a cleaver if she knew.

and they were okay with him bein gay. Its the school that discrimnates against him for that

I don't think MSN keeps records of its conversations. So unless they were going through his phone texts, I don't see how they could have found out.

Is that legal? It's distasteful at the very least.

I didnt think it was. He wasnt allowed on the football team because of it, AND he was told he'd recieve 3 x 1 hour detentions if he made even the slightist gayish hinting.

That's certainly distasteful. And highly unconstitutional. Seafort, or someone with knowledge, help me out here. Doesn't the UK have an equivalent of the Bill of Rights that would make that kind of open discrimination illegal? :?
