Yeah, that was really really disappointing, I did want to see that Gator at least snap at the cat and make it piss itself. That was just sad.

Didn't you see the boat? It was probably a gator tour; the two little guys in the video are probably used to being fed from the boat, and around humans.

Not that I'd stand that close without my Glock aimed at them, but the folks in the video probably consider them safe enough.

It's a 'gator farm, they're very likely 'gators that are used to being handled by those very humans. I've been to such a place and seen the events. Obviously the guy who performed the show only had two fingers on one hand and four on the other.
