The Romulan Empire is dead, their oppressors are the ones that stopped their own government from razing their own worlds. Their oppressors are the ones who are rebuilding their worlds. Feeding, clothing and housing their population. Take your empty words elsewhere.

The Federation has privately asked that the Tiidian Empire call off it's attack. Now we ask publicly. If your reasons are honest, then the people of the Federation agree with you, the right of self-determination is important, but this is not the way to do it. I ask you to show restraint. If you wish to join our corner of the Galaxy, to educate us of your Great Enemy, and allow us to prepare together for the day that they come, then I ask that you call off this attack. It does nothing but take you further from your own goals.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

We believe this to be another ruse on the part of the Taiidan; another excuse to attack and claim territory without provocation. Whatever the reason, it ends here.

This assault is utterly intolerable. Once more the Taiidan take what is not theirs, they draw open conflict that is long since dead and forgotten. Any power here knows as well as i that it will not stop once the Romulan empire is reclaimed.

We believe they have perhaps stepped onto ice thinner than they knew.

We owe our new guests a debt of gratitude. They have united our nations in a way that we've not seen in over 30 years. Cardassia is already planning the annexation of former KFI territories.

This may be unwise. The Imperium is currently rebuilding several former Romulan worlds which were razed during the war. Such a task has proven extremely difficult even with our resources. At this we are only rebuilding half the affected worlds, as the other half are within the remnant. To do so across the whole of the former FKI will take more resources then any one race.

We also recommend against it. They have stepped onto the frozen lake; we need only wait for them to fall through under the weight of their mistake.

We shall of course, take your suggestions under advisment, especially of the Klingons who are involved in such an undertaking as we speak. However, first lets show these agressors what the Dominion SHOULD have faced when they came through the wormhole.

Remind to arrest Dukats family for his crimes.

Mistakes of the past are there to be learned from.

These Taiidan will have their mistake etched upon their racial memory for the next millennium.

It is with great remorse, but great determination that I announce that at 14:45 Standard Time today, the Federation Council passed a declaration of War upon the Tiidian Government. Their two unprovoked attacks one following official protest and requests from the Federation have demonstrated that they are a threat both to Federation Security, and the Security of the Quadrant as a whole.

:: Open channel from the Elder Council Chambers ::

It is with unanimous vote from the Elder Council, and from the Populace of our High Republic, that the Turei people make our challenge to the Taiidan Directorate. The quadrant has watched with horror as these...these...abominations have committed their atrocities, purged our rightful lands of their people, enslaved entire races and enacted gross genocide on others. We will not deny that we have made mistakes and errors, we have fallen into the quagmire of poor decision in the past. but it is through this we have learned to recognise tyranny.

And Tyranny must be sort out and expunged. The High Republic will either help to defeat this menace...or we will face our end trying.

We live free, or not at all.

*Open channel broadcast from the Breen Confederacy*

We speak on behalf of the Coalition, and also as a sovereign Confederacy in the following statement:

We understand conquest in the name of glory and honor, in the name of revenge for grievances both past and present, but there is no honor in unprovoked genocide against races who have shown no ill will or dishonorable actions toward another. Following the strike against the Imperium of Martok, and the slaughter of billions of planetbound Klingons, we see that the Taiidan Directorate are cowards without any semblance of honor, and should be hunted down like the feral beasts they are.

The Coalition as a whole declares unrestricted war against the Taiidan Directorate effective immediately, and will put the entire might of the Coalition to accomplishing the goal of their complete surrender or annihilation.

For the Breen Confederacy as a whole, we look forward to meeting the Taiidan in battle a second time; we suspect the outcome will be considerably different when you are no longer facing only a small group of our antiquated Cruisers.

You are a pitiful lot. We were led to believe the Klingons thought themselves mighty warriors. Given that they require everyone else to defend them, perhaps they are not. The Federation claims to want peace yet rather than plainly stating their intention to defend the Klingons they make vague pleas for withdrawal. It seems to us less a desire for peace and more just an attempt to bring our fleets into conflict so they can generate a pretense for conflict. As for the Turei, you do enjoy the word genocide but you seem to have no concept of what it means. Not surprising given your past statements. You are quite bold when other's nations lie between us providing you a buffer aren't you? As for the Breen, again does this sector of space have a different definition of genocide? At what point was the Klingon species threatened? We attacked valid military targets. If their government truly cared about its citizens they would not have allowed them to live in close proximity to a primary target in war.

We find it amusing that those who claim to love peace rush so eagerly to war.
