Good film! Funny and sad and uplifting all rolled into one.

Today I watched Hunters (2020) Amazon Prime Video show. It's about a teen recruited into a group of Nazi killing vigilantes. It's got a doozy of a climax and an ending.

The Usual Suspects

Hadn't seen it in years and my guy had never seen it. Still holds up, as classics do.

Fantastic Four (2005)

This was my first time watching it, as, aside from Reeves' Superman movies, I didn't really get into comic book movies until Guardians of the Galaxy. I've been spending the last few years catching up.

I really enjoyed this film. The drama and humor are well balanced, just as in the two preceding Spider-Man movies and which would become a signature in the MCU movies that were to come. I've also been watching The Shield, starring Michael Chiklis, so it was interesting to see him in this, and I never saw him as Vic Mackey here. In fact, I really enjoyed his performance here as "The Thing". It was obvious he was really enjoying the role, in spite of the discomfort he endured. It was also fun to see a pre-Captain America Chris Evans.

I'm looking forward to the next one.

I much preferred the 2005 version to the more recent!

From what I've heard, almost everyone prefers the 2005 version to the original.

Anyway, I've seen the 2005 Fantastic Four and overall, I liked it. Not the best, but overall not bad.

Over the weekend, I rewatched Avengers: Endgame. And overall... it really held up great. Still made me laugh, cheer, even cry at points. Hell, the end credits were a better movie than some movies I've seen!

Re-watching the Godannar series, as background noise while browsing

Result: the rest of the URL is stripped and just the Youtube identifier (and any start time) is kept

(Or click on the Youtube button, a pop-up box happens, and you paste the Youtube link into that. Clicking 'Ok' on the pop-up box closes the box and automatically parses the link

A while ago I watched all the Marvel series from Iron Man through to Spider Man Far From Home over the space of about 2 weeks. Good fun.

Yeah. Might've been one or two low points, but on average the MCU is one hell of a great series.

Lake Placid:Legacy...a stinker from SYFY network, where even the beastie was awful!

Original film was silly and fun...good popcorn flick with good actors and excellent beasties.

Should have been one and done!

Agreed. Lake Placid was excellent. I tried watching Lake Placid II and boy was it bad.
