A song? I don't have any songs from earlier than the mid-1800's. What song?

No wonder old people know nothing of our music, they have so much from their youth... :poke:

But seriously, I don't have all that much, but I would like to get a lot more, I'm starting to get into Guns N Roses, I like the sound, and it's not super heavy metal...

Color me un-surprised. ;)

*EDIT* No, wait - I lied. I have some music whose original versions probably existed before Jesus.

Had to explain who AIC were to my cousin. "Wow, are these guys new?!"

"....it's Alice in Chains, what the hell do you mean new?"
After listening to it a few times, my favorite songs from the album are

Last Of My Kind

Acid Bubble

Take Her Out

and the title track.

The whole album is f*cking amazing, honestly. If they aren't at least nominated for a Grammy, then the award is a complete joke.

The best part though, its still AIC. No reinventing themselves, its still AIC.

Yeah, even though there are only two original band members; really cool.

If anyone here knows who Mike Patton is (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle), you might like this. Actually, everyone should like this.

Peeping Tom -

Mojo - An anti-drug/anti-douchebag song in disguise. :)

Don't Even Trip - describes how I feel about a lot of people in my life.

Look up the rest, it's all great. :)

Here's a band I'd never actually heard until recently; they were taking off, but the singer was killed in a car crash not long after they finished their first album... :?

Snot

Stoopid - a song about letting hatred control you...

I Jus' Lie - a song about men acting like dirtbags.

Tecato - a song about how bad choices can make a crappy life even worse...

Unplugged - about how screwed up our capitalist society really is, especially for artists.

Again, all great songs; look the rest up. :)

This might be a bit heavy for some of our members, but I'm really digging Bleed The Sky.

Sullivan

Minion

Division

Kettle Black

Through the Dirt

Leverage

These next few also are considerably different; I like bands with diversity.

Gated (my favorite)

Poseidon

Occam's Razor
