Do you have any proof to back up your ramblings or are you just going to poison the well until we all get fed up and leave the thread?

You wanted numbers?

Ok so apparently 15 people voted and about 8 people have debated. Now I tend to take the word of people who bother to debate other people who dont but lets just have a look see at what people want.

Teaos, Rochey, Seafort, Mikey, Kendall, Tsu, Sunny, Judgeking (off the top of my head). Have all either out right voted for battleship or agreed that it is the class that is being built.

That is 8 people. 8 people is more than half of the 15 people who voted.

People against battleship - Blackstar.

Now that is 6 people who have not made clear their thoughts on the matter (And if they can't be arsed posting a message why should they count for as much) Now even if all 6 agreed with you (Statistically unlikely) you still lose the vote.

Its a battleship, move on. I wanted a smaller ship that filled an exploration roll. I got out voted. I've accepted the vote and moved on. It might not be what you want but its what the majority wanted. I'm not going to put every litle thing in a poll. I'm going to expect people to debate a point. If people cant be bothered posting their opinion doesnt get counted.
To be clear, I voted for Scout IIRC but the vote went for Battleship. Democracy had it's day and in keeping with that I voted for the maximum amount of armour as well as traditional armour. No point in a battlewagon that can't take a pounding.

Chakat, you need to man up and accept that you are outvoted.

Chakat, do this if you please. Answer the following questions.

Have you ever been in the service, of any kind?
Have you ever seen someone die in front of you in a manner so horrible that you sleep and hear the screams?
Have you ever been shot, stabbed or otherwise very badly harmed in combat?
Have you ever seen a man kill a child and laugh about it?
Have you ever listened to a mass murder talk about peace that doesn't end with extermination of another race?
Have you ever been in the real world outside of that sad little box you call a mind?

I'm thinking you will say "no" to everyone of these things. But, before you show us again how stupid you are, let me remind you that some of us have lived through this.

It was for coledge credits. So what about you? You seemed to dodge the question if I remember correctly.

You fuckhead. You have no fucking idea what I've been through so shut the fuck up about it.

Seeing as I'm claiming the negative, it's you who have to prove your case.

You fuckhead. You have no ******* idea what I've been through so shut the **** up about it.
Yes, big tough 19 year old. You see we already know that you have never served, so what's your authority to speak on this issue, besides HS history?

Still dodging my question I noticed, so I guess that's a no to the psychology class. As for proof, the military has tighted it's grip on public info since the war started. It's impossible to get a one-on-one interview with a soldier these days, so the only other way is to get info like that is to get into the military which I refuse to do.

I'm not going to explain my entire life story to somebody I don't know and don't like.

You seriously expect me to take the word of a HS student who took one college psych class (likely an intro) on this issue? A student who has been consistantly been proved wrong on virtually every issue he's spoken about on this BBS?

Here's a simple request, post the relevant details about your course and proof that you completed it. Or PM them to me, then I may take you seriously.

And here's a hint: if you have no knowledge of what you speak of, than STFU. Your not fooling anyone in this thread.

I'm not going to explain my entire life story to somebody I don't know and don't like.

All right then, back to the default assumption that you've done nothing and just like to hear yourself talk.

I'd like to point out that we only have your word that you were actually in the Canadian military and are 30 years old, just like you only have my word that I'm 19, and live in Wisconsin.

You're right, I don't know what you have gone through in your life. Don't really care much about it either. I've seen worse, a lot worse. Right now you are talking about something that you have no idea about and getting mad when you get put down about. You want people to leave you alone then you need to own up to what you're involved in.

If you want to speak with someone in the service I could ask around for some of my buds to speak with you. You could also go to the local base and speak with the commander, or you could just talk to someone who lives nearby you. I'm sure you must have a soldier somewhere around you.

Nope we have lots of little bits of proof. We've seen his photos and his wounds, we have witnessed his extensive knowledge on military matters. And some of us have other proofs aswell.

So while there is a small posibility he has that all as a cover you'd think he would come up with a cooler cover story, at least making himself ex special services, if he was making it up.

Is there a reason he should lie about this?

I, at least, am completely honest about who I am. One of my best friends is a Marine who recieved a Purple Heart for nearly having his head blown off by shrapnel; he's never said a damn thing about brainwashing.

Though, if you join the Marine Corps, you likely don't need the brainwashing to do the job you signed up for.

The Corps is the Corps, you know what you're signing up for when you go in. They tell you, a lot.

Oh, right cause you'd tell us all about going through that stuff right? Besides, I'm not even allowed to talk about some of the stuff.

I know one ex-soldier but he's not talking to me because he blames me for being an ex-soldier, despite the fact that I never forced him to climb that tree.

To impress us. Hey, I'm Angelina Jolie.
I await your details
Oh, please, all you need is a copy of something like that and use photoshop on it
