And the complete lack of any inteligent action ever taken by Starfleet.

Considering the silly ground combat tactics displayed by the Federation's enemies (scream and run out in the open), Starfleet may not even need an army. Just give the extras in engineering some phaser rifles and they can hold off any ground assault.Captain Seafort wrote:Among other things. Yep. In Full Contact, Starfleet command kept their most powerful warship, Enterprise-E, out of battle with the Federation's most powerful enemy.Rochey wrote:And the complete lack of any inteligent action ever taken by Starfleet.

I've noticed you say "Full Contact" before. Was it released in your country under that name? We all know it as First Contact.

I wasn't trying to rag on you, man; I just thought it was released under a different name (as movies sometimes are) somewhere.

I know you weren't ragging on me. I just keep making mistakes. I'm just glad I only called it "Full Contact" twice. Right?Tsukiyumi wrote:I wasn't trying to rag on you, man; I just thought it was released under a different name (as movies sometimes are) somewhere.

Well, besides Mikey, that is.
I can't think of one occasion on this forum where I've been mean without someone insulting me or being rude first. I understand different people have varying standards for what constitutes rudeness, but I tend to follow an older standard of honor; I dislike insults, and find them not only ignorant, but offensive to the same degree as a glove to the face.

Yeah, well, leave me out, then. My only qualification is that nobody should be surprised, as I don't recall having ever claimed to be nice.

You rarely turn to insults at all.
