I could write up base line stats on the Orks if you want? I have the codex here (along with most of the others) so it'd be pretty easy.

Where did you find the melee rules? I found the ranged ones.Deepcrush wrote:In shooting you get a plus 10.
In melee I get a plus 10.
Notes, these are two nobs then.Ork sizes are as follows.
Gretchin - smaller then human
Boyz - same as human
Nobs - Range from human size to hulking.
Boss - Hulking
Warboss - Enormous
I don't know. I haven't read the melee rules in about a year. Thats why I'm asking so that I don't have to read through it all again.Where did you find the melee rules? I found the ranged ones.
Okay,Notes, these are two nobs then.
Heh, same reason I was asking. Oh well, I'll find it.Deepcrush wrote:I don't know. I haven't read the melee rules in about a year. Thats why I'm asking so that I don't have to read through it all again.
Nice, then my made up stats are about right.Okay,
Human size Nobs would be in the 40s Str, Toughness and WS.
Hulking Nobs would be in the 50s for those mentioned.
Didn't move far enough for Charge so count it as All Out Attack.Deepcrush wrote:Since we were shooting and not in close combat, I'm going to charge and melee.
WS 50 + Charge 20 = Ability 70 / Roll 79 - just missed.
WS 50 + Charge 20 = Ability 70 / Roll 80 - just missed again???
Just for giggles, I asked for a hundred rolls and the average was around 60.74??? I think I'm going to the dice. If I can find them. Does Hamete seem to roll high for anyone else?
So no dodges or parries for you next turn.Deepcrush wrote:Didn't move far enough for Charge so count it as All Out Attack.Deepcrush wrote:Since we were shooting and not in close combat, I'm going to charge and melee.

I'd say he practically explodes. Ork 2 steps up to the plate, swings his chain, WS 44 + AOA 20 = 64, rolls 56 for a hit. Damage 1d10 + 2 + str, 5 + 2 + 4 = 11, - 8 def for 3 damage.Deepcrush wrote:Okay, attacking again since both guys missed. I'll just do one BIG write up when it's all over.
WS 50 + AOA 20 = Ability 70 / Roll 44 (44 body) / Damage 2d10 (roll 12) + S(B) 5*2 (10) = 22 - 7 defense = 15 damage
WS 50 + AOA 20 = Ability 70 / Roll 43 (34 body) / Damage 2d10 (roll 10) + S(B) 5*2 (10) = 20 - 7 defense = 13 damage
Total of 28 damage to the Ork in front of me. Does he live...
Ah, right, I'm still working on the orginal set up rules in my head.Deepcrush wrote:LH, thats a body hit. I have Carapace armor there. AP 6. So, no damage.
Not really, its the only place I have armor. Plus, Orks not big on AP.Lighthawk wrote:Note to self: Mobs need more Pen.
Orks aren't big on much except red paint and dakka.Deepcrush wrote:Not really, its the only place I have armor. Plus, Orks not big on AP.Lighthawk wrote:Note to self: Mobs need more Pen.
Okay, clearly the mobs facing Buck are going to need much better arms and armor.Deepcrush wrote:WS 50 + AOA 20 = ability 70 / roll 59 (95 left leg) / 2d10 (14) + S(B) 5*2 (10) = 24 - 3 = 21 damage
WS 50 + AOA 20 = ability 70 / roll 05 (50 body) / 2d10 (12) + S(B) 5*2 (10) = 22 - 9 = 13 damage
Total of 34 damage...
Shouldn't the people I'm fighting be random?Lighthawk wrote:Okay, clearly the mobs facing Buck are going to need much better arms and armor.
OH but wait. You haven't seen the kill for the second one yet...Lighthawk wrote:Take 100xp for two bloody kills.
