Um... their hyperdrive was damaged beyond repair. Hence why they needed a new one from Watto.

No, they only had enough juice to get to Tatooine, no farther.

Ah thats what it was. Never mind.

Maybe I shouldn't do three things at once all the time.

Which still puts Tatooine rather close to Naboo relatively speaking, so it's confusing why they consider that a "frontier" planet

In all of the maps I've seen, Naboo and Tatooine are close (though Tatooine moves around a lot, and I know very little about Star Wars canon).

Wow, this is wonderfully random. Only on DITL can a Random Thread go off topic. :DITL:

None of that, now.

I made some excellent pork spareribs last night. What's notable is that this is the first time I've cooked ribs of any kind. :)

You aren't allergic to whiskey, are you Foxx?

So, no bacon cheeseburgers for you guys, eh? Bummer.

I wanted to make beef ribs, but mom insisted that the pork ribs have more meat. I disagree, though the price was unbeatable.

Since most sauces are kind of sugary, I've taken to making my ribs with a dry rub - Splenda-based brown "sugar," dry mustard, paprika, sea salt, cayenne, black and white pepper, and little (believe it or not) thyme. The come out great.

Couple weeks ago, my wife made pork-roll cheeseburgers. They were like sex on a bun.
