Um... their hyperdrive was damaged beyond repair. Hence why they needed a new one from Watto.

Which still puts Tatooine rather close to Naboo relatively speaking, so it's confusing why they consider that a "frontier" planet

In all of the maps I've seen, Naboo and Tatooine are close (though Tatooine moves around a lot, and I know very little about Star Wars canon).

I made some excellent pork spareribs last night. What's notable is that this is the first time I've cooked ribs of any kind. :)

I wanted to make beef ribs, but mom insisted that the pork ribs have more meat. I disagree, though the price was unbeatable.

Since most sauces are kind of sugary, I've taken to making my ribs with a dry rub - Splenda-based brown "sugar," dry mustard, paprika, sea salt, cayenne, black and white pepper, and little (believe it or not) thyme. The come out great.
