Well, my mom is going into the hospital tomorrow. She's been extremely sick for a while, and I've exhausted my at-home remedies to no effect.

To add to the gloom and doom:

Just got an e-mail from my dad, his late brother's wife died last tuesday from cancer (don't know what kind, this is the first I knew she even had cancer :bangwall: love my family) and his other brother (well it would have to be another brother wouldn't it? :oops: ) has been diagnosed with Parkinson's and is also recovering from heart surgery.
“You cannot play God then wash your hands of the things that you've created. Sooner or later, the day comes when you can't hide from the things that you've done anymore.”

And then Buffy staked Edward. The End.

Got a question for our friends across the pond. What exactly does the expression "Bob's your uncle" mean? As best I can figure from hearing it used, it seems to mean something along the lines of "and you're all set", though I'll be damned if I can figure out how or why it's suppose to mean that.
