Happy to help.
How did I do it this time? Refering to Reliant's post. And I really want to know, what the hell is a Cortina? It sounds like a drink.

Well excuse me for someone being crap at promoting it. because frankly you've done a bloody bad job of it.

Just how does a statement like that even make it to your fingers without your head exploding with the shear lack of logic involved. Honestly, it's amazing, to say that you don't know what something is and then say it couldn't possibly be something else! It's like saying, for example, I don't know what a potato is but it's certainly not a vegetable.

As opposed to NASCAR, which is just a bunch of rednecks trying to show off?

BTW, Reliant got NASCAR AND F1 right on.

Thank you.

And frankly Blackstar, you got almost all of DITL on this. you even got the Kennedy monster, who is fantastic at this arguing thing. he needs to get involved more.

That looks nothing like modern CoT's. And what's a Mercury doing with a Ford badge?

This is a standard Sprint Cup NASCAR:

See the difference?

Ford and Mercury are actually the same manufacturer. Look it up if you don't believe me.

Well I know that, but Capri's are sold under Mercury, not Ford.

The only kind of racing I've actually gone to see might be the kind Reliant thinks he's talking about. Actual stock car racing. For one that's because I actually knew guys in it. But also there tends to be a lot more going on.

Allow me to elaborate on that. If you took some people after a NASCAR or F1 race and showed them one lap unless it was one of the maybe five laps where something really interesting happened they probably couldn't even tell you if it was at the beginning or end of the race unless the leaders changed. Even then they wouldn't be able to say what was going on before or after it.

Whereas in a sport like say American football a fan would tend to have some memory of most plays as they're fairly different and probably would have a good idea of how it fit into the game.

Fair races are like that. Cars are freqently getting sideswiped, rammed, spun, get put into the wall etc.

And here they're clearly reaching out to reliant

As more of an example of what I'm talking about this next clip is really about the flip at the end where the car catches on fire.

But look at all the stuff near the start of the clip that the drivers just keep going after. That's just how the races go.

The difference is totally irrelevant, you where totally unaware of the difference at the time you made the statement. That is what I couldn't believe, it's nothing to do with the items in question. It's as if I said that those NASCAR things are just like poopledoogs, and you say I don't know what a poopledoog is but It's nothing like a NASCAR. It makes no sense, as a poopledoog could be just the same as a NASCAR for all you know. Declaring that you no nothing about an item and then making a statement about the nature of that item is completely illogical. Can you not see that?
