Once again I find that being 15 has left me at disadvantage...

And Ian? Any criticism I made of an iPad...I take it back. I do almost everything on it now and it's sooo easy to use.

Laugh all you want, but a KISS concert is like Naples... you should see one before you die. Aside from the fact that the music is incredible, it's an absolute spectacle. The purotechnics, lighting effects, mechanical effects, electronic effects... Tommy Thayer shredding a Les Paul like nobody's business... while riding a riser on a scissor lift 20 feet in the air... while shooting fireworks from the headstock of his guitar. Gene Simmons breathing fire and then planting a firebrand into the stage... or playing the opening riff of "I Love It Loud" while rising thirty feet into the air and spewing blood. Paul singing the intro of "Love Gun" while riding a zip line to a rising, rotating platform in the center of the audience. And Peter Criss... sure, he's not the most technical drummer in the world, and sometimes fills over melodic sections - but he's incredible. He looks like he just flails his arms like a caveman surrounded by smilodons, but somehow these incredible riffs come out and he seems to roll the entire double-bass kit every measure.

Wasn't too thrilled about paying $11 for a 24-oz. Bud, though.

8) Just bought a car. 8)

An ugly ass 1991 Nissan Sentra. Paint oxidizing, a rusting hubcap, a missing passenger door lock, and a blown rear speaker.

But its mine! All mine! No more broken bones from moped crashes!!!!!!!!!

$700 bucks off the lot.

Lord, the American version of our Sunny I do believe.

Solid enough cars but described aptly as automotive drizzle. It just...goes. However, reliable. and since you Americans seem to love cars with engines that are bigger than i am, it should be fairly nippy (at least by the standards of the 1.4 that we usually had).

Im glad your not on mopeds any longer though! :D

That's great news, Mark! :)

Going out to Benihana tonight for a friend's birthday. It's a darn good thing they post the menu online, or I would've looked pretty dumb sitting there for 20 minutes trying to search for something under $10.

I'm going for the hibachi chicken rice ($3.25), and a half Philly roll ($3.25). Then, if I get tea ($2.85 w/ free refills), I'll still be under $10 for the meal, which leaves me enough money for a low-end tip. :(

No doubt it will be better than my first car.

My dad even seriously considered getting a Reliant Robin. I almost shot him.

Ah, that awful thing.

GPS: "Turn left now."

You: "I can't! The bloody thing will tip over!"

Jeremy clarkson did a road test with them at one point. Admittedly he was driving it a bit purposely but he flipped it nearly 17 times.

You would not believe that was one of the last british motor companies that were still in one piece would you? Those things were made from early 1970's all the way to 2001 for godsake.

Great British motor heritage. A 3 wheel toaster.
