Congrats, I guess. Let us know when you're sure. :D

Blackstar - I can't believe I actually read the following paraphrased sequence:
Blackstar: all F1 tracks are the same shape and composition
Someone (Ian, I think): No, they aren't - here's an example
Blackstar: Yeah, well, that's not the point

Wouldn't it be easier to just say right off the bat, "If I believe a certain thing, I will not listen to any information about any opposing viewpoint. I will, however comment on that information without actually reading it."

And please, if you can't tell cricket from croquet, don't comment on either. Or, for example, NASCAR, if you believe they use jerry cans to fill the cars.

That is impressive. That and jet boat racing.

Damn straight. Racing boats has to take serious skill. They don't exactly stop on a dime; the handling is completely different, and a sight more difficult than driving a car.

Especially the flat-bottom boats. For having four wheels on the gorund, though, here's the shiznit - drifting:

I've hated drifting ever since that stupid movie about it, Fast and fu*king Furious or some stupid sh*t.

Tokyo drift or something like that. I didn't see it though.

Actually does anybody know if with drifiting it's just a requirement or if they actually get through the course faster drifting vs standard driving. When they're going sideways on something that's roughly straight I'd think they'd be going slower than if they could get nose forward.

Anyway, rally racing.

I dont like rally racing just for the fact that they are racing the clock and not each other.

The best kind of race in my opinion is when a car of similar performace to yours goes rocketing past you, and you go "Oh man, I GOTTA get a peice of that" *double kick down/floor it/gogogo*

If you've never seen The Fast and The Furious praise the GEoM, not Vin Diesel's finest hour. I haven't seen the other one mentioned though. Apparently it gave a hefty boost to street racing.

Eh? Try under 5 seconds. 25 seconds is about the entire time the spend off the track.
Sorry, that's what I meant.

I don't think he literally meant jerry cans, I know I certainly didn't. The NASCAR gas can (for lack of a better term) resembles a jerry can about as much as I resemble a mushroom.
