It's print-on-demand.
And, it is now available for purchase, at least for those in US and Canada, through here.
It should be available through Amazon (amazon.us, amazon.ca, and amazon.uk) and Barnes and Noble in a few weeks.

It honestly looks really interesting from the description. I may actually order one when I have money.

I've had some problems lately with my hearing and...Today I've pretty much gone totally deaf. We don't know whether its a sinus infection (I often lose some hearing to it) or its something more serious but I can barely hear anything even if its a shout.
I'm finding it quite hard at the moment, as family and friends are getting quite frustrated at having to shout everything several times over so I can actually hear it.

For reasons unknown, I've decided to learn Japanese. After 17 days I've learned a stonking 71 out of the 208 basic letters. At this rate, I estimate it'll take me about 10 years.
Theres probably 2 dozen other more useful things I should be learning, like a programming language or basic accounting, or how to check the oil in my car. But doing the sensible thing was never my forte.

For all who have been following the Star Trek SIM in the Wargames thread, I'd like to announce that we are opening up a second game for anyone who is interested.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Thankyou.
And yes, i have to agree. I see a lot of people doing it at my local college and I have to ask myself "what the bloody hell does it help with!"

1) You no longer give a shit about subs vs. dubs.
2) You can impress all the hot nerdy chicks* with your command of the language. *Both of them
3) You can hit on the hot exchange student in her native language, sort of.
4) When you finally do take that trip to Japan you can proposition the schoolgirls without needing the phrase book.

Though just taking a trip to Thailand would be cheaper. At those prices you might get a bit more than bargained for... downstairs, but at those prices you can afford to run them off and try again.

I mean, I understand what you mean about bargain bargirls... but what does that have to do with otaku?

If you're looking to hook up with Asian chicks it'll be quicker and less painful.

Uh dude. Here in Hawaii, if you can speak fluent Japaneese, you'll make friggin' HUGE money.
PLUS...I've found that ALOT of female Japaneese tourists would like to have a little "vacation fun" with some guys out here. If you can speak their language, you'll spend most of your time in various hotel rooms.
