Bulging disk at the L5. Plus arthritis and degeneration of the spinal column (likely drug damage)

Ah. I've got a herniated L5. I'm in constant pain from sciatica, and back pain most evenings. I've been trying to get some info on decompression, but I don't think I can get it covered.

What kills me is that I'm sitting on my ass ALL DAY LONG. I got a better chair but that only helps so much. In the morning I'm stiff but not to bad, but by the end of the day I can barely stand up straight. I have to lay in a reclining angle on my bed for like a hour each night to relieve the pressure.

Yay, back pain.

Seriously, fractured vertebrae suck. I've never had any problems with my back, and I really didn't need any extra pain. So, now I get to spend a lot of time lying in bed.

Anyway, my wife is either appreciative, or anticipating... I woke up to a swiss cheese omelette and corned beef hash with a pot of Gevalia Antigua coffee. Ah, well, I guess I'd better start loading up on the oysters now.

The Antigua, BTW, is very nice - medium-bodied, on the sweet side but with a nice acidity. I prefer earthier varieties like Kenya or Mocca Harar, but this is a nice change of pace.

Looks like she's going to have some work for you soon enough Mikey...
